This foal is out of our very special mare, Il Bint Magidaa. LD Arabians is the ONLY farm in the world where you can find foals that are grandget of Bint Bint Magidaa (full sister to Ruminaja Ali and Alidaar) because we own the only two living daughters out of Bint Bint Magidaa on the tail female line. Zarif’s full sister, Amal Magidaa LDA, won the Extended Specialty 3 Year Old Mare class at the 2010 Egyptian Event!! Zarif is nominated for the Egyptian Event Futurity.
The sire to this colt, Mishaal HP, compliments this mare with the incredibly rare combination of both the blood of Ansata Sinan AND the blood of Imperial Madheen – he was sired by Reserve WORLD Champion Stallion Ansata Sinan and his dam, Mesoudah M, was a full sister to Imperial Madheen. The combination has resulted in foals with great size, long-straight legs, beautiful huge eyes, lovely little ears, very dished faces and consistently beautiful movement and athleticism. And I must also mention the incredibly loving and caring dispositions on these foals – such a joy to handle! Available by private treaty.

He represents one of the most successful nicks in current Egyptian breeding, that of Egyptian Event Reserve Champion Stallion and German gold medal winner *MISHAAL HP on a daughter of U.S. Reserve National Champion Stallion THEE DESPERADO. This nick has produced 8 Egyptian Event halter winners thus far and has significantly contributed to *MISHAAL HP’s success as a sire (he has ranked as a Leading Halter Sire at the Egyptian Event for the last four years, siring 27 different winners there with only 94 get old enough to compete. In 2008, he ranked second overall in number of winners sired, and in 2009 added 5 new winners and was ranked third in number of get who won in halter). AL ZARIF LDA’s dam line sets him apart as well, as he traces in tail female to the marvelous BINT MAGIDAA (dam of 7 champions and 3 National winners) and to her dam, the great *MAGIDAA (dam of 4 champions, 3 National winners and 2 National winner producers).
